Our Story

Running changed my life, it improved my health, sharpened my mind, and created lifelong friendships. I started Coastline Striders so more people in Ikorodu can experience these same benefits.
We are focused on the Ikorodu community: helping the older generation keep fit and, in the future, inspiring kids. I draw inspiration from Tunde Onokoya’s work with chess and want to achieve something similar with running.
Our vision is to inspire both young and old, showing that running is not just fitness, it’s community, resilience, and joy.

Choose light, breathable fabrics and proper running shoes. Avoid cotton clothes and worn-out footwear.
You can start running with simple clothing and shoes. Track your progress with your phone—no gadgets needed.
